pls dont bring homewrecker crap. only on their acting basis. personaly i prefer sri. that great acting in sadma to gold digger wife in movie where she sells her husband😆 my all time fave is lamhe though. what a movie! n naagin is a classic as well. Mr. india charlie chaplin act 😃 madz is same in every movie dtph hahk, dil. in beta she got overshadowed by aruna irani//

Madhuri was massive superstar but acting wise she was not really that great. She was fine, but not exactly what we call acting powerhouse.

Sri Devi was/is an acting powerhouse.

Sri quite easily.

Also change the title of this thread, so topic becomes more visible.

Madhuri for me...

She was awesome in any role she did..

From her fear in 100 days to obsessed lover in pukar to a lady stricken by love in devdas..

she has given many masterpieces to the industry..

Tezaab, dil, sajan, beta, khalnayak, anjaam, hum apke hai kaun, koyla, dil to pagal hai...

i Dont know, i have always found sridevi's acting a bit OTT

I voted for Madhuri.

Sri is great too. But sometime I can't stand her voice. Too shrill. But expression wise, she wins it.

Overall, Madz. Though Sri has slightly better filmography than Madz.

Both are good actresses and dancers. But Sri gives priority to acting over dancing. If Madhuri has to do Navrai Majhi kind of dance, she would have overshadowed everyone in her dance. Sridevi could have, but she didn't and stayed true to Shashi Ghodbole's character in English Vinglish.

Madhuri has potential as an actress. She could shine even with a small role in Lajja. But too much emphasis on her dancing skill has reduced her capacity as an actress.

Sridevi..90s ki saari heroines used to copy sridevi in their initial years including Madhuri..watch her expressions in early 90s songs and you could see sridevi in her.lot of credit for both goes to saroj khan.
