Then why not they go for normal pregnancy ? oh they have MONEY

if she can died during birth any one can also ..why this much insensitivity for others because you have MONEY

Govt face so much criticism on this issue as many people use their money and take advantage of poor women ..this law come for those , those dnt have child , but now days its a became a fashion...

it is becoming a mean of easy money for women in poor countries.Giving their wombs on rent for the sake of a big amount (not for serving the humanity). It is more like a business for them.That is why surrogacy is banned in some countries.

govt interfering in ppll's lives? Lol India has much more leniency than majority of other countries.. And actually govt does have a right to interfere... They could have imposed the two child rule earlier, but did they do so?? No na?,i think it is much required at the current stage... And besides the ban will surely undergo many amendments!

I don't think so that money is the solution for everything...There are doctors who advise people if they can have a baby or not...u and I don't know what their circumstances were...so why are u assuming about what happened...it was their personal choice because of whatever reason...why speculate?

those advocating people should have 2-3-4-5-10 child its their wish , have they know how many women died in surrogacy while giving birth to Rich people child ?

How many women facing problem after birth of child ...

these rich people knows the long-term consequences of repeated pregnancies that's why choose surrogacy...

An Idaho woman named Brooke who was serving as a surrogate died October 8, along with the twins she was carrying, due to pregnancy complications. Brooke was reportedly carrying twins for a couple from Spain, where surrogacy is illegal. Brooke was "a surrogate mother to five babies."

Women's advocacy groups have pointed out that the market for children focuses entirely on the "end product," aka the child, without taking proper steps to care for the mother. "These mostly low-income women are injected with powerful hormones and other drugs to maximize chances of pregnancy, virtually without government oversight," says Jennifer Lahl, president of the Center for Bioethics and Culture Network, which believes that surrogacy should be outlawed in the U.S. "Women didn't get this far to be treated like breeding animals."

Of course they can interfere in people's lives...they can turn India into China, N. Korea or even Afghanistan...but then Modi ji jo seena taan kar har jagah pahunch jaate hai...humara desh mahan karte hue...woh nahi hoga...we will be another country where human rights will be violated...Just because the Govt has the power to do things doesn't mean that it should go ahead and do it.

No one is saying that these things should not be regulated to take care of these issues

But putting blanket ban is stupid and regressive step

women die giving birth to their own children too...that is why there is a need for stricter rules...a proper evaluation of physical and mental health...and aapka kya matlab hai Zandu ji...if the close relative chooses to be a surrogate...she can't die...what kind of logic is this...iss hisaab se toh childbirths per he ban lag jana chahiye
