Just goes to show that the odds against which the Indian Olympians perform at any Olympics...Kudos to each and every one of themšŸ‘šŸ¼...If they are given proper training, infrastructure to pata nahi kya se kya ho jaaye...Indians excel in cricket because the proper infrastructure, motivation, everything is there...same needs to be done for other sports too..

so in the video posted by rajdeep she is being pressurized into saying that it was the responsibility of rio organizers and not indian officials and that during the world championship everything was properly available and our officials must have thought that such would be the case in rio too as it's common sense?

Absolutely disgusting! Those IOA officials neglect almost killed this athlete! 😔
Unbelievable!
They were missing from the water stands! 😲 She could have died from dehydration! And neglected even at the hospital! 😲
I bet the officials were at the beach staring at bikini bods. 🤢

Shobha De's accusation fits the officials, not the athletes, the 🤬 offcials went for that purpose only, Rio jaao, selfies lo, wapas aa jao. 🤢

and they say medal medal medal😔
with these facilities how can you get a medal
those afi and ioa officials look like they are on a holiday in rio
first provide them good facilities ,look at other countries they take such good care of there athlete's and treat them like celbs

some things done by our country people are really pathetic...🤢 but when we criticize people get defensive...i am proud to be a part of india, but we have a lot of changes to make.. we need to get better.. not act so inhumanely..

Criticizing people or even criticizing India for its short comings is fine because unless we see the shortcomings how are we going to fix it...but wanting and praying for India to fail at something...NEVER EVER WILL BE OKAY...there is a big difference between the two ...

i dont mind constructive criticism such as in this case... it is very much necessary.. changes need to be made... but shobha de's criticism mocking indian athletes was not constructive at all...

If she wanted to criticize and be constructive about it, she would've made those comments about the officials...But she chose to target the actual athletes who already are facing so much...Really shame on her🄱

I also heard the athlete was blaming officials on TimesNow but here are the tweets of 2 other journalists claiming to have interviewed her regarding the incident.

quite possible that she was threatened later to change her quote...else say good bye to her career forever...
