I think comparison with AB Sr's Don is what makes SRK's Don look underwhelming, for me if I keep aside Amitabh's Don(which is obviously superior), SRK's Don had a certain swag and he looked quite cool especially Don 2. Although both the movies sucked.

Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgan & Amitabh Bachchan are the best when it comes to Gangster roles. SRK's Raees will be something diffrent compared to Don so It will be Intresting to see how he potrays the character. If he does well then he will get my respect.</font>

Agree, also another actor IMO who looks good and convincing as a gangster is Vivek Oberio(no not JBKLS😆) but his roles in Company, Rakth Charitra and shootout at Lokandwala was good. Not at level of Ajay, Sanju or AB Sr or even Manoj Bhajpayee, but it was good.

IMO, Sanjay Dutt's performance in Vaastav was a masterpiece and far better than SRK's Don. Baba's performance was more realistic than SRK who can't do Vaastav.

If Sanjay Dutt played SRK's role in Don then he would have nailed it. Baba is the King of Gangster movies.

I liked this Don better than Ab's because Don doesnt die in the end.

Of course Sanjay. SRK sucked in the Don series. Probably one the few of his worst performances. Don remake should've never been made.

As a gangster movie vaastav is way ahead with reality touch of politician- police -gangster nexus and how they use and throw them . Sanjay dutt acting also superb with good mumbaiya dialogues . That last scene in the movie was quite impactful .
