May be Ajay could have worded it well. But God Shiva really has those characteristics..Even when there's pujas done at home Shiv puja is the most simplest because bholebaba can be easily pleased..

I honestly do not find anything offensive..Most literature specially from middle age portrays Shiva exactly like that !

MiNi -its not like teenager wont know it unless they are told by film.makers..history of litrature was a mandatory subject for all in our board in plus two..and there were soo many interpretation of Krishna and Shiva..there were potrayed as full human with equal amount of flaw in each..no it was not offensive..it didnt broke our notion of GOD..even during engineering boys used to joke around how they are true disciple of shiva while taking ganja...rather than hush hush everything should be out in ope..honestly i would be shocked if todays teenagers are not aware of these mythologies..God is not just God..they have so many dimensions and thats the beauty of hinduism..

Ajay should have spoken with some sense here I mean its stupid to use religion how u want it. Shiva is not abt flaws.

There is nothing wrong in what Ajay said. our Gods were not perfect, all of them had questionable characteristics , but that is what makes Hinduism unique. Hinduism always teaches to learn from the positives of a character. we are free to question our Gods. we are free to go to another religion and come backs. we were free to choose our occupation. we were free to worship whichever god we liked. it is different story people made the religion rigid and destroyed it to an extent. Hinduism is not an religion, it is a philosophy and a free system which is unique and fluid unlike any other religions but it is pity we have bunch of buffons who are hell bent in making it another religion of peace.
