Shivaay's trailer has clocked 1.46 lakh likes in a day. This is a record in Bollywood. But statistically speaking, something doesn't add up.To start with, there is nothing so wonderful in the trailer for it to attract so many likes. The trailer was half baked, all over the place, no head or tail, no flow or structure, just random imagery, some stunning shots, some tacky CGI, complicated voiceover, too long... etc etc. Basically, the trailer was mediocre. Then how did it create the likes record?Let's do the math here.Sultan trailer got 31 million views and 2 lakh likes.. on an average 1 like per 155 views.Fan trailer got 24 million views and 1.8 lakh likes... on an average 1 like per 134 views.Dilwale trailer got 25 million views and 1.5 lakh likes... on an average 1 like per 166 views.Bajrangi Bhaijaan trailer got 7 million views and 40 thousand likes... on an average 1 like per 182 views. So more or less the average rate for any big trailer is 1 like per 130 to 180 views. With Shivaay, the trailer got 4.5 million views as of now and number of likes is 1.46 lakh. So, on an average 1 like per 31 views. Now, either the trailer has to be so extraordinary that it compels 6 people out of 180 to like the trailer, when only 1 of them has liked the Sultan, Fan, Dilwale and Bajrangi Bhaijaan trailers. OR. The fan following of Ajay has to be so powerful that they all not just watched the trailer, but liked it.The former obviously isn't the case going by the mediocre trailer, and the latter.. if his fan following is so great, let's look at the pattern of his previous three movies' trailers' likes.Drishyam trailer got 8 million views and 18000 likes, which means 1 like per 444 views.Action Jackson trailer got 14 million views and 20,000 likes, which means 1 like per 700 views.Singham Returns trailer got 8.5 million views and 20,000 likes, which means 1 like per 425 views. So can anyone else see the anomaly here?
