Buzz is, Sanjay Leela Bhansali has had a long meeting with Ranveer Singh for Allaudin Khilji 's part in his next ambitious venture, Padmavati.

Yesterday, Ranveer was with SLB in his Juhu office for nearly 5 hours. A source says, "Ranveer came in a little before 3 pm and left only at 7.30 pm. He looked very excited and happy as he got into his car."

On the other hand, it looks most likely that Deepika will win the coveted role of Padmavati.

Let's wait for the official announcement.

This is a weird, disrespectful dick-move!!! RS isn't some child & SLB the stand-in parent that he receives a "dressing down". Esp at this stage of his career.


If he did deny Veer a script, that's pretty counter-productive because how else an actor, esp as hard-working & methodic as Veer, try to study his character? SLB is one those possessive freakshow of a director who believed that once he has made his muse taste commercial & critical acclaim, he owns him (Veer). Veer will Ofc, put up with it.
