Beg to differ on that one. In terms of a career outside of Bollywood, Priyanka is in a different league altogether. She's found a FANBASE in America..people there voted for her, she won the PEOPLE's choice award. Aishwarya is recognised outside of India, yes but she wasn't popular as how Peecee is now.
In terms of stardom & celebrity status, Sridevi & Madhuri didn't have much competition apart from each other. Who were their competitiors?

Aishwarya Rai is has always been touted as the most beautiful woman in the world ever since she won Miss world 22 years back. Her celebrity status in India and outside of India is all thanks to her extraordinary beauty. She has that aura about her that is very superstar-like. The Bachchan tag did wonders for her brand overall. I feel Ash's got a fairytale picture perfect life and it will be hard to replicate this.
Priyanka seems more like a badass.
As for Katrina, lesser said the better, I like her when she gives interviews. That's it.
