They can coexist but they don't have to.Even that is a choice.

No working mother can ever deny the fact that as a new mother the quality of time with your toddler doesn't get affected because you are managing work as well.If someone can choose to and afford to choose in today's time then it is a perfectly fine choice to choose to take a few years off to embrace one phase of life over co managing it with the pressures of a day to day work life.

Similarly, a woman who chooses to only have a career and not want a family life is also perfectly fine though it is majorly frowned upon in our society.
