Aishwarya's Role in ADHM is Pivotal and Unusual - Dharma

Last night, internet was abuzz with reports that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is having a cameo in Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. The movie, which is currently in its last leg, also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma in the lead.

While this blunder was done by the actress' PR firm (Say What! Aishwarya's Role in Karan Johar's 'Ae Dil Hain Mushkil' is a Cameo Appearance?), a source close to the project clarified the news to us.

"Aishwarya plays a crucial and a pivotal role in the movie. She has shot for almost 35-40 days, which obviously means that this is not a cameo," reveals a source close to the production house.

The official spokesperson of Dharma Productions too clarified the news and said, "Contrary to rumours, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is playing a very pivotal and unusual role in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. In fact, it is probably the most unusual role she has played."

Guess, now that the truth is out, Aish fans can rejoice!

Directed by Karan Johar and produced by Dharma Productions, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil releases on Diwali 2016.

35-40 days plus she is due to shoot in the final schedule next week and will apparently shoot for a few songs and scenes.

Anyway I find these conspirary theories inane.. jab trailer/picture release hogi tab dekh lena bhai.

She shot for a month and them some. I highly doubt it's a cameo. It's probably the length Salman had in KKHH. No way they don't use after all these tabloids on intimate scenes and Bachchan disapproval.

she shot yesterday for a song. I think b/c everyone is kept so private about her look and role ppl assume it's mediocre. Hopefully, we get something considering I doubt I'll see her with Ranbir again in the future.

Highly unlikely! lol. Not every day scripts are written with older woman, younger man in mind.

Exactly! There have so many theories about the film, one could literally make 10 different films with those stories.
