Rajesh Khanna did some amazingwork in his career, Anand, Aradhana. I can't get over how brilliant his acting was in Aap Ki Kasam, the endings of that film is one of the most touching endings to any film.

I actually partially agree with him. About Rajesh Khanna's work and yes, I am aware of the good films he worked in. But his style of movies , the ones that made him such a Superstar ushered in a template . AB Sr did too , with his angry young man acts..acting is subjective but years of same type of entertainment ruling at BO or otherwise makes the industry churn formula films. But I disagree about cinema not improving, it is ..WOM is doing wonder now.

All for being progressive , dissing out opinions about dead, politics and what not, Twinkle couldn't take criticism of her dad's movies or his art. I think when NS criticized all actors he meant ALL actors including his own son and he did confess he hams in movies.

KJO's tweet is so churlish and the whole industry" being family narrative please don't hit us".What does he do with his blogs, gossip columns and chat shows where people are dissing living and dead, both.

It doesn't matter. Naseer is giving an opinion and by addressing it, she is actually acknowledging it and giving it a platform for greater attention/altercation. If anything, its the most unintelligent thing to do and shows that she cannot deal with criticism or opposing opinions with an objective mind or grace. Lashing out at someone, especially in a tit for tat way like this (no, you're mediocre!!!) just comes off as immature. It reads like a kid throwing a tantrum rather than an adult who can let people have their say without invoking differences in how we should behave with the living or dead.

And doesnt he think that working in movies like Welcome Back leads to mediocricity.
I am no fan of Rajesh Khanna, but havent watched his many movies to judge him.
Honestly,I used to find Amitabh Bachhan,Dharmendra very over rated atleast in those days,Big B is trying different genres now,but Dharmendra just relied on his looks and brawns. My family still has a hearty laugh when he cries in his old movies😆

Nasserudin Shah seems to be going through menopause😆

The unfortunate part is that after some lovely movies, just like RK, Naseer also did try to move into the rage of his times, the masala movies. Why forget Hero Hiralal, Karma, Jalwa, Tridev, etc where even though some movies did well, he was not completely accepted by the masses

Instead of being bitter and lamenting about his not getting good scripts, for a person who was so much into movies, why didn't he go the Kamal Hassan route and make his own movies if he wanted to save the industry from 'mediocrity'.
