TBH barring a few fans, most of the people do acknowledge her weakness in acting department and don't tout her as the best actress ever. Take a look at the polls, she lost to Anu and even Sonam by a margin. However she sells as a package. She looks good, she's a passable actress with good choice of films and a colorful love life. She is everything a aam admi wants in his favorite heroine.

Kangana was full of drug when she on set. Actually, she always lack of confidents. Her character always same. See what happened when she tried to be someone else in Rajoo (dancer), Katti Batti. All her role was as an big head & rude women & drug addict role.

Sonam always playing Girl Next Door role. Even Neerja, she also playing the same role. The only different Neerja is "something" for India.

How is Sonam who is bashed left and right and who people were expecting failure with Neerja overrated ? I didnt know one was seeing the same character in Neerja, Aisha or Milli (Khoobsurat). In your humble opinion, are Zoya (Raanjhanaa) and Sakina (Saawarya) similar too?

How is Kangna with her 3 NA overrated ? Were Datto and Tanu the same type of character in your book ? For you is Rani (Queen) alike Rajjo or Alka Singh (Revolver Rani)? Also, Kangna's performance as Payal (Katti Batti) was appreciated. Know that commercial and critical don't necessarily have a correlation and that an actor can give a good performance in a bad film.

Deepika being overrated doesn't mean she's that bad. But seriously her Mastani was closer than a corps that a warrior princess. Bland gaze, no energy...

I wasn't impressed by her character in CE too even though she garner appreciation.

Nah, she deserves where she is. Compare her 1st film to her last and she's def not over-rated. I like to know the under-rated ones tho lol

In IF Vidya and Tabu even Yami are extremely overrated! they get praised to the sky even for average performances!
Deepika is hardly praised for her ACTING skill in IF..so how is she overrated??

Yep she is overrated,at least in IF coz every second person on IF opens a bloody topic on DEEPIKA PADUKONE every other day.😡 Why, why only DEEPIKA? Every other actress has some film to talk about for 2016 release. But no, everybody want to open a topic on DEEPIKA only, why?

She is not overrated ,she deserves the top spot ,can see the hard work.I feel none of the female actors are overrated ,though they get films ,it's tough for them to make a good place ,name and loyal fanbase because in showbiz they are considered replaceable .So all of them are deserving.

But surely many bw male actors are highly overrated 🤢
