Hiked ticket prices is a good excuse, like the others werent high? Sultan must have higher ticket prices than previous releases , even if we go by that theory hiked ticket prices would DETER someone to pay extra whereas low ticket prices would Encourage people to spend and provides more reason to repeat watch a film and get high footfalls, so footfalls is bogus measurement to use... cheap ticket prices will always give more incentive to watch a film. Sultan released on more screens than PK and this time it had a few open days as well.

Excuses can come from both ends

1. HAHK > Raja Hindustani (Salman 1 - 0 Aamir)

2. Maine Pyar Kiya > PK (Salman 2 - 0 Aamir)

Yes, Sultan had extremely hiked ticket prices, so giving the excuse that PK tkt prices were hiked is not going to work 😆
