How can you term this as Muslim community insult? Alauddin khilji was ruthless, he plundered and subjugated territories and rulers. It is a fact which is well documented by historians. Him being muslim does not contribute to his evil nature nor to his sexuality.

PADMAVATI is the titular character here and the film chronicles her fight for her honour against the ruthless demonic Khilji. Ratan features in the story because he is her husband. Padmavati's fight fpr her honour and her courage to refuse to accede to the demands of Khilji is praise worthy. She jumps into the fire to protect her honor.

About Ratan Singh, we havent seen the film yet nor do we know how SLB has planned to show the growth of the story.

Oh boy. Are there going to be even more protests about this movie? SLB gets criticized when he doesn't stick to historical accounts, and now he may be vilified for actually sticking to historical accounts.

I just want the movie to be amazing and for Ranveer to kill this role.
