Umrao Jaan seems to be the flavour of the season.

Bollywood gets its third Umrao Jaan in the form of Soha Ali Khan.Yeah! that definitely means Lakhnavi attire, turbans, ethnic style and oh! did i mention… not so authentically perfect sets, artificial look and a mehfil, to which we have got quite used to. Other actresses who have portrayed the famous courtesian are Rekha (1981) and then Ashwariya Rai (2006).

In the series of Umrao Jaan movies, this isn't a pure one. This movie is actually about remakes made in the Bollywood. Interestingly, a different take. Titled as Khoya Khoya Chand (earlier as Bahut Nikle Mere Armaan) is directed by Sudhir Mishra. The movie deals with the remaking of old classics. Umrao Jaan is one of the actresses played by Soha Ali Khan in the movie. We 'll wait 'n' watch as to what justice Sharmila junior can do to the role.
