They were scheduled to share stage but Deepika apparently refused to do a joint performance. It came as a surprise to their fans and the rumours started doing the rounds that all is not well between them.

Just yesterday, Priyanka was asked about the same and she has put all the speculations to rest. And now Deepika has also revealed the reason of not dancing with Priyanka.

The Piku actor told DNA, "Priyanka is a fabulous performer and I didn't want to spoil her performance. We might not have done the dance together at IIFA but you can always play the song anywhere when we both are around and we will happily dance to Pinga."

Earlier, in an interview, Priyanka had said, "Deepika and I get along really well. I have known her from before she became an actor and for a tough song like Pinga, she was the best partner I could have asked for."

On the work front, Priyanka is currently busy shooting for the second season of Quantico. And Deepika will mark her Hollywood with XXX The Return of Xander Cage.

Deepika is such a liar. She knows Priyanka before Priyanka started acting?

That would be in 2000 lol when Priyanka was 18 and Deepika was 14!!! Wasn't she in school ? How on earth would she have known Priyanka? Why would an 18 year old be friends with a 14 year old lol so

Its PC and not DP who says before becomeing an actor have to read it clearly 😉 if i remember DP said everytime before she become an actor and PC was establish she would have known her and how friendly PC was.
But i like DPs answer better than PCs who just said ask DP why she didnt want it to do. I dont know something is really fishy between them. They are definetely cordial but no friends. Or else PC would have asked DP why she didnt want it to do it at IIFA and would know the reason.
And why spoiling a performance both ladies wanted to do something different and a Pinga dance would take too much time from their individual performances. Now we have a singing PC and a dancing DP to Malhari. Cant wait to see their performances😆

DEEPIKA was a model Colgate, kingfisher, ramp BEFORE she became model. Pee Cee was already in films, Miss India and then Her first film with Lara.

Of course they must hv met at many a event.

It is ok Deepika didn't want to SPOIL Pee Cees performance, but why go behind the back and change. Let the choreographer or Deepika call up and say plans have been changed ...from what was earlier decided.

It's a very well known and OLD fact. Priyanka met Deepika around 2005/6 when DP was doing some modelling and they met at some event. They've talked about it many times and over many years, really nothing to dispute.

Priyanka knew Deepika before the latter became an actor. Deepika and Priyanka both have mentioned that on numerous occasions. They had met during some modeling assignments and PC was already established by that time.
