well SRK never dumped her. SRK-PC were together and are still together. There hasn't been a blind in months.

I don't think this will be the case here. If SRK leaves Gauri for PC, his stardom will take severe beating. It is matter of who adores who. Those of us who admires PC will be more disappointed with her. She has the image of a strong woman who is relentlessly ambitious. Alas her ambition extends to her choice of boyfriends too. If tomorrow SRK's star power reduces to that of Harman Baweja (hypothetically speaking 😆) she/her followers will no longer blame her indiscretions as her being weak in love as u suggest. Its more likely a lust for power that SRK encompasses and she craves for!
