Sonakshi Sinha On A Roll
We at Box Office India told you that Sonakshi Sinha had signed a film called Noor, which will be directed by debutant Sunhil Sippy. The film is an adaptation of Saba Imtiaz's novel Karachi, You're Killing Me! We now hear that the film will roll next year. A source close to the actress reveals, "Sonakshi has Akira releasing this year and then Force 2. She has signed the Ittefaq remake and from October, she will also be shooting for it along with Vipul Shah's Namastey England. After that, she will start with Noor and then Ittefaq."
Talking about Noor, the source adds, "The novel is based in Pakistan but it is being rewritten with an Indian backdrop and the Indian socio-economic structure. Sonakshi will be playing a contemporary girl. Though it doesn't need much prep, Sunhil believes in workshops, which he will do for a fortnight with the entire star cast before going on the floors. The director plans to wrap the film in a 60-day schedule."
