I also have the same question, how does he know it so well to describe how a raped woman walks?

Is it from experience?

salman is a celeb and his statements make bigger impact . Remember when chris gayle sexism row rose , the commentators who were on air at that time laughed as well but gayle had to apologise and accept his mistake.

like gayle, mr salman comes across as chauvinist and unrepentant now

But lets milk the controversies and remain in news.

Given Salman Khan's immense popularity his statement, his joke, and his trivializing rape sent a very crass and disturbing message to the world. By speaking up NCW is at least ensuring that some, if unfortunately not all, will think about the gravity of his statement and why it was so wrong. Demanding that he apologize is a powerful way to stand up not just for victims of rape but for all women. I think if they succeed it will be a very positive thing for their cause.

I don't know much about NCW, and maybe they are failing in every other regard. But this is a very positive move on their part. Very much needed and very positive for the cause.
