Abhi and Shweta seemed so polite, sorted and without a chip on their shoulder. Shweta used to come across as haughty but Abhi like a real fun loving guy with a great personality. What the heck is happening with him now.

Take a page from Akki. He is an outsider who does not give baashans about lead vs solo lead. He makes both kinds of movies, gives decent BO or if he fails picks himself up and does the next film. He is among the first to give chances to newcomer heroines like Kat and Sonakshi. And he is successful, very, very successful. He has a good looking wife too and two cute kids, but you don't see him melting down in public like this. He is always polite and professional and it is easy to like him and the press is out to get him too but he does not play into their hands. Abhi just needs to quit and ask ABSr to buy him an IPL team in addition to the two teams he already has. This is embarrassing and comes across as ungrateful and bratty. You cannot make any more excuses, dude is having a crisis.

he should stop doing movies for the sake of it !!!and start venturng in other fields than doing z grade roles /sdekick roles to prove hmself !!

Man..I rooted for him and I still believe in his talent but he needs a fresh perspective of things.

He needs to get his head cleared .Produce films and make good cinema.
Work on himself (physically and career wise). He has the money and luxury to do it.

He has issues and needs it cleared. He is started to act bratty which is not good.

Yes, compare him with his father who is not only one of the best in BW but in world cinema. Dude does not have the talent, he is mediocre at best. He never should have been lead. Ash may be terrible in Sarabjit but she has a better resume and more importantly people still want to work with her. Her career is not because of her surname. If she had nothing, she would have gone the way of Sush and Lara not had the career she had in multiple industries.

No I dont think so. Aish has nothing in her credit. Even Shakti Kapoor would have a stronger resume than Bahuraani. Just being in a movie doesnt give her any credit. Hit movies given by her - HDDCS, Devdas, JA ? Madhuri beat her in DD, stole the show from her when she was at her peak and Madhuri was in her set-down days .. She was really good in HDDCS and JA. 2 movies in her entire 10 yrs of career (Break excluded) ?

Abhishek has played much more varieties even if the roles were short. He was the only tolerating factor in MPKDH, he was too good in Refugee, Sarkar, Sarkar Raaj, Guru, Yuva, even HumTum, BluffMaster, Bunty aur Bubli, Paa (excluding his comedy roles krap, he really sucks in comedy).

AB Jr. has shown much more variety more convincingly than Bahuraani. People would soon want to stop working with her due to her non-acting skills. She has NO solo-hit movies in her kitty which she can claim to make a hit single-handedly. Even where she appeared as Guest Roles, she couldn't manage to steal the shows like AB Jr. did quite a few times 😛 She has simply ZERO talent except looks (Beauty is subjective and I dont find her beautiful).

About Sush and Lara, had their priorities been to continue BW career, they could easily kick some balls by now. Both better lookers and good actors 👏 Whereas Bahuraani is so schemebaaz that to remain in BW that after her disastrous affair with Salman Khan, she got married to Bachchan Parivaar. It's a known fact that she married Bachchan the surname, not AB Jr.

AB jr is anyday a better actor than plastic-face Bahurani with dead acting skills IMO. 😊

He has done such wonderful movies in his career (Guru, Dhoom, Yuva, Bol Bachchan, Bunty Aur Babli, Sarkar, Sarkar Raj, Delhi-6, KANK...the list is endless). He is a far superior actor than his wife, no doubt about that.

Abhi you're being sensitive for no reason dear. You are a fab actor and I always appreciate your sincere acting. The fact that you've been underrated in the past because of your heritage does not take anything away from your success and performances. So chill and have fun with these stupid questions.

And yes, you were the only good thing about a film called Happy New Year.

I beg to differ. I am not taking about hit movies or mainstream BW. I have seen her early acting movies like 'KanduKondein Kandu Kondein' in Tamil (sense and sensibility). Ash acts with Tabu and Mammoty when she did not have any experience and believe me she pulls her weight. Watch a gem of a movie called Rain Coat with Ajay Devgan. The Ash who screeches in Sarbjit and even in HDDCS has given such a restrained performance. Ajay is a super actor and she is not jarring with him at all. Another movie, I think Bengali is Choker Bali. I think it is a Tagore story. All this happened relatively early in her career, certainly before JA.

As for Abhi, I cannot take him seriously as an actor. The same Yuva for which he was praised has a version in Tamil called Ayutha Ezhuthu. I think Maddy (Madhavan) plays his role and you realize immediately what Abhi is lacking. Even his best is mediocre. In the case of Raavan, which Abhi was horrendous in and a BO disaster, the Tamil version had Vikram in Abhi's role (he plays Ash's husband in the Hindi version). It was BO hit. Ash plays the same role in both films. She was nominated for a South Filmfare in Tamil for playing the same role and got good reviews too. Same roles, not even similar, but you can see the difference in performance in Hindi and Tamil because Vikram is an excellent actor and Abhi is not. It definitely affected Ash's performance IMO. Also same director. Mani sir can do world class cinema in Nayagan with an actor like Kamal and good cinema with Vikram and Maddy type actors. Not with Abhi because he just does not have the talent IMO. It just shows in performance when you watch two films same story, same director. But Ash in the hands of a good director can do well. YMMV.

I don't feel sorry for him. He's not a newbie to the industry that he has to be treated lightly. He knows that he's going to be facing the press for Housefull 3 promotions so he should have a statement (or a joke really) in place to answer questions like these. Instead he ends up sounding super lame with his response
