Ranbir Kapoor is miffed with multiple stories linking him to Kangana Ranaut. Last evening, their pairing was trending on Twitter, #nowranbirkangana. It was the top Twitter trend for a brief while. Says a source close to RK, "He is wondering where these rumours originated as there is no truth to it. Ranbir, who is shooting for Jagga Jasoos in Mumbai, since he has come back from Morocco, is in a state of shock over the spate of stories that have sprung out of nowhere in the last few months. He is upset that people are taking advantage of the fact that he doesn't issue clarifications. There is no truth in the stories of Ranbir and Kangana's affair, yet in a very systematic manner this is being spread in media. He knows who is behind these rumours and if this continues, he is considering issuing a strong denial this time." Meanwhile Although various reasons have been offered as to why Kangana Ranaut walked out of Sai Kabir's next, an insider tells us the reason is Irrfan Khan. Says an insider "Irrfan had made a tongue-in-cheek remark about her wanting to play a hero in her films at a press conference and he wasn't far from the truth. According to Kangana, when she had a script narration, she felt Irrfan had a much stronger role and she would be reduced to a peripheral one and even had an argument with Sai on this.
