Even if they delete Punjab from title, everyone knows it's udta "Punjab" !! So who are they trying to fool or protect.
Movie night have flopped, if it was left alone. Now people will go n watch it to make their point.

This is just too sad. The film is due for release in a couple of days and CB acts like a jerk!😡 How can they expect the makers to take out Punjab from the title. Like W*F! It is about Punjab and is addressing a serious issue. Appalled at the thinking. We can never be a developed nation with a mindset like this. Clearly, its political reasons. Cannot be anything else.

More than tweeting, are they not planning to do anything?

Doing such a thing (89 cuts) just a week before the film's release is so unfair. That too, when the film is addressing a burning issue (not a sex comedy). Hundreds of crores and hundreds of people's livelihood is based on the opinion of committee of few people (with no specific qualifications) and no proper rule book.

Today it happens to UP, tomorrow it can be some other. (Raees story is based on Gujrat underworld, a state where liquor is supposed to have been banned).

Government of course needs to appoint some well respected people from industry as the censor board chief. They don't seem to have any taste in movies, so they just appoint someone who has made some election videos for them. But more than change of head, censor board needs clear, transparent and uniform rules. (Whoever is part of committee, result should be same).

If film industry is united (includes regional films too), it should go for strike.
