I love Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. He doesn't get enough songs. SO glad.

Arijit was not upto the mark in singing and tried to do some despo stuff 😆😆 . Its as simple as that . Think Salman and Rahat can make something even above Tere Mast this time ⭐️⭐️

I listen to Rafi almost everyday and the voice that parallels closest to it is Rafat. YMMV.

Sonu cannot touch the high notes of Ratat. He can reach 80% of his. But Rahat cannot produce Sonu's variety. He cannot display all moods. He can definitely sing Abhi Mujh Mei Kahi better than Sonu Nigam. But he cannot bring naughtines in Aate Jaate Jo Milta Hei, Fun mood in Ruki Ruki Thi Zindagi, sexiness in Suraj Hua Mattham. If if sings Ruki Ruki Thi Zindagi, it won't be 20% as good as the original.

Rafi's tone was not not bland like Rahat. Listen to Accha Ji Mei Haari Chalo. His voice matches upto Dev Anand's naughtiness and irritation when he sings "Dekhi Sub Ki Yaari Mera Dil Jalao Na". His songs for Mehmood and Johny Walker are totally different from the ones he sings for Dileep Kumar. Every singer has his own identity. But if someone can match upto Rafi, (reaching his high pitch as well as providing variety) it would be Sonu, not Rahat.

If such a thing happens, it is unfortunate. Simply, it hits the opportunities for other artists from Pakistan too. It is not like Rahat willingly took away Arijit's job. It was a star's ego. But always there are people, who will be waiting for such an opportunity to twist the story. Artists across the border have to be more careful.

...exactly but Abhi mujh main kahin is not only a difficult song because of hi notes its a difficult song because of expressions with which sonu sang that song ...that feelings and expressions is sonu's forte rahat is only better with hi notes he seems bland with emotions and expressions compare to rafi sonu...rafi is a teacher of expressions sonu learnt that from rafi sahab how to express each and every line ...

Well one thing could be incident but all of sudden 2 singers controversy related to sultan and all of sudden salman giving aag to his relation-ship status ...any non-fan mind might think like that 😳😳
