MTH was Semi hit from beginning. Hit for trades too. 2nd film old actor was given a 40cr budget film during IPL

BBB was never a clean hit. Always been Average but funny enough Ricky Bahl was below average now changed to a better verdict

BBB just didn't flop hence it became a news of being a success. Otherwise a 23r grosser made of 16cr budget being hit 2010 is lil impossible don't you reckon?

The above article is funny, khans in their prime achieved more, which none of these newbies have even tried. This also can be the reason, when we don't have anyone, push those which are available.

Yrf & Dharma kids they are, they hardly can survive outside production films.

Varun's biggest hit is with UTV. ABCD 2. Also his dark film with a director who'd never had any successful films in his 20 years long career finally got a successful film with Badlapur. Varun's only done 2 Dharma so far. He doesn't get Sid treatment. He has done films with Balaji, Maddock, UTV, Red Chillies etc. also doing his next NGE.

Even BOI credited Varun's rising star power.

Ranveer being YRF kid only has 2 major hits both being EROS films. 😆 YRF have only harmed him honestly besides his debut BBB. Phantom, Excel did him more favour. 😆

Aamir took 6 years to deliver his first Blockbuster. SRK didn't have any BB till DDLJ came. They also took their good old time. Yeah they took over quicker. Because Bachchan, Dhamendra, Rajesh K were the biggest stars before and they were long gone when Khan's came and after them it was only mediocre stars with limited appeal such as Anil K, Sanjay, Jackie S etc... They didn't have the craze like 70's heroes.

Cannot credit Dharma or YRF for these guys. Coz in 90's Rajshri, Dharma, YRF, Dharshan were major producers/PH and they backed up Khans too. Funny enough these new guys don't even get the biggest films of those PH nowadays. It's the Khans/Kumar/Roshan who gets a Fan, Sultan, Dhoom or Brothers, Agneepath

Multiplex has capacity to run 30 shows a day, which new gen star has able to even get 70 or 80% shows housefull?

When launch is big, u get big films, when launch is like sanam teri kasam or commando, u don't get films.

Ranbir from disaster Saawariya to Blockbuster YJHD

Obviously they can't repeat Khan's stardom. Not even get close but they will be the stars of this era. Not like Khans will remain forever as leading contemporary hero

Dil was youth attraction superhit, mpk, saajan, ddlj, baazigar, darr, rangeela, kkhh had highest overseas, 5 atbb from khans in 90s, which all new gen stars can't even get one.

and mind it that was single screen era, 4 shows a day in comparison to 30 shows a day.

But not even all Khan can fill up the space. I am a Salman fan. And it seems like I am being anti - Khans but truth is give one of these new heroes a big film with holiday release. Just saying give them a chance. Maybe we will get our response. Give Varun a Diwali film. or Eid. Last year on Christmas Ranveer had BM and it took on Dilwale. A Khan film. This year Ranbir will take on Ajay with ADHM. But for once give the solo release like Khan's got back in the days
