Hahaha... Can't blame Sachin for that I guess. It was very insulting to all sportsmen to bring on a non-athlete as a representative for something as big as Olympics.

He was the sports ambassador. Now he is just an entertainment ambassador. In simple words he becomes the "Anarkali". He is expected to sing and dance and entertain these "real" athletes after a hard days at work. He was being sent to put sportsmen on the map with his star power. Instead they turned him into a glorified entertainer. Ahh it's a sad day at galaxy apartments. Salim Khan sahab will be downing some pegs to digest this bitter truth that his son is putting no one on the map and they showed him his place where he belongs.

But most members criticised salman coz the athletes should be given chance and actors shouldn't hog the limelight

Then why accept cricketers as ambassadors when cricketers already get more attentions than olympic atletes

So basically he is like the IPL cheerleader for them? 😆 He should have just declined the offer when it came to him in the first place.
