i loved movies like omkara,gullal , PSt,GOW etc
but do they give real picture of towns in india.
i mean i know violence happen there .
but so much abuses , people openly talking about sex,
pre marital sex( it is taboo in indian society).
who behaves like tanu in small town.
and all these movies are called real movies.
crtics praise them for being honest and what not.
but prematial sex, affairs are taboo in small cities but still

All that you mentioned is a part of daily lives of for people around the globe. City town or village this there is all kinds of characters in this world and people make communities and people are unpredictable.

i know these things happen
and in conservative areas happen in hush hush .
but do remember critics prasing all these movie for being real and not larger than life.
but i am yet to meet someone who behaves like tanu in rural india.
and wth was Shuddh desi roamce.
2 people in live in rel in rajasthan.
rajashran is very conservative.
how can this be real.
i know live in reation is common in mumbai and other metro cities buttt jaipur

Tanu was from kanpur, and that is not a small town... It is a big city and has all kinds of ppl in it, even like tanu.

but as far i know kamwali bai,have mobiles.
even bhikari sometimes. so mobile no big deal.
some from rural areas are super rich.

evn kangy herself said that no girl can be like tanu.. Yes there are some haath se nikli ladkiyan , but no girl , however modern she is, will come out in a towel infront of her family and guests... She was too superficial. 😆
