I dont feel any empathy towards her because she is the one who wants to hide her wrongdoing under the feminism umbrella and I as a woman abhor that idea. Its too somewhat understandable when a not too fortunate or helpless person does something in that line but its beyond my capacity to understand why someone earning in crores leading a stable life does this kind of silly things. She is a pathetic "human being" and gender is secondary factor.

One of the studies say, the domestic violence act has been mostly used(or abused) by rich and powerful women and many of the are false allegations to frame in-laws. When the irony is the actual sufferers seldom uses this law for whom the law was made. I dont supoort the abusers of law. Does it make me anti feminist??😲

It is true that women are having to swim against the tide but one of the reasons for that is because of the women like the author of this article, Kangana and every woman out there who misrepresent the women...

Being a woman, rather a successful one is not enough to tag you as 'GOOD'
Even if I ignore the Kangu controversy, what about the other stuffs..

Priyanka Chopra's affair was quite obvious... she becoming a global icon cannot erase this..

Women leaving their acting career and switching to Interior Designing - Oh common, there are hundreds of female actors who willingly marry a businessman to get a secured life and for most of these men, it would be a second or third marriage

They all run on exchange policy so nobody is doodh ke dhule

But yeah, I do agree about Anushka... even if she was a flop actress, nobody would have the right to connect Kohli's performance with her period.

What has feminism to do with those who are supporters of HR or Kangana? It's not even a valid point to bring in gender. I'm a female and I did not support either in the beginning but now it definitely shows Kangana is on the wrong so why shouldn't anyone support Hrithik? If anyone still supports KR, it's because they might think about the case in a different manner but it's not because of their gender only. If someone feels that the male is right, they can voice their opinion and so goes for the other person.

It just seems that people here are hurt because Kangana is being bashed. Well, she called for it by being delusional and cannot play the female victim card now. Because of females like her, other females get blamed even when they are on the right.

Also, this case cannot be generalized for all such cases nor can anyone trust any female/male these days for BW. These actors bring in these issues to only get publicity and here KR seems to have got what she wanted. Same goes for Hrithik too.

What are you talking about? With whatever I got to read here, I haven't seen anyone calling anyone 'scumbags' other than this one time...Now I cannot vouch for every post that is being made here...I can obviously only talk about what I have read...And more importantly when I questioned the said post, it is because I was one of those who supported HR...So clearly I was standing up for myself...What selective preaching are you talking about?

I accede to the fact that BW men get far more credit for their hard work than their female counterparts.

Priyanka, DP, Kangy , Anushka and SO many more have made it to BW on the their own merit with NO Bollywood connections. None of them get the same appreciation for that say like SRK for having done the same.

When did Kangna play the Feminist card? (genuine question)
If it's saying that Hrithik's intent was to s**t-shame her doesn't mean that she intends to be a mascot of feminism ; it's only her using a term that exist to describe the situation she's in...

While I (kind of) admire your loyalty, you MUST be joking. She has played the woman or should I say girl card (cause she definitely wouldn't be lying about her age😆) relentlessly. In every legal notice in every public statement. Her lawyer threatened criminal complaints for imputing unchastity on a woman (whatever that means when it's a man saying he did NOT have sex with a woman despite her desperate desire to do so and HER claims they did), in her statement about blackmail won't work she said, "I am not afraid, as a girl" - why mention she's a girl?! Certainly in the s**tshaming claim. Literally somewhere at least once in every statement!

what was she supposed to say?
i am not afraid as a alien?
i am not afraid as a boy?

should women be banned from saying i am not afraid as a girl because it has to mean they are playing the women card and trying to gain sympathy as it cant mean anything other than that?

doesn't it depend on context?

a girl walking outside alone at night in an unsafe area
"i am not afraid as a girl"

does not have to mean playing women card and gaining sympathy using that line

just offering another POV.

He was threatening to leak her bat-shit crazy emails if she didn't tell the truth. She wanted people to think he was going to release nude pictures because she was trying to get sympathy (as a girl) and provoke outrage (against a man). She was supposed to say, "I am not afraid." FULL STOP. She said "as a girl" to remind us she is a girl (not even a woman, poor thing) and he is a big powerful man and lots of people fell for it hence all those nasty stories about Hrithik the bully when he only ever wanted her to tell the truth and leave him alone.

Which bubble do you live in? Leaking nude pictures isn't a big deal for men? For the men that I know, it is and I will presume unless proved wrong, that it is a big deal for every self respecting person irrespective of their gender...

If she didn't want to use the gender card...she needn't have used 'girl' in every second statement...
