Sallu plays mediator as its a truce for Anushka and Virat

ATwo months after Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli ended their two-year relationship, the duo was clicked exiting a suburban Cantonese restaurant on Wednesday night. They were dinning with buddies Bunty Sajdeh, head honcho of one of the country's leading sports management firms, and celebrity stylistcum- wardrobe consultant Leepakshi Ellawadi.

The paparazzi had gathered outside a restaurant down the road, waiting to catch producer Ritesh Sidhwani and his friends as they stepped out. But as soon as they learnt that the actress and her cricketer beau were in the vicinity, they gave chase. To avoid the gathered cameramen, Virat and Anusha exited in their separate cars. Virat left with Bunty and Anushka with Leepakshi.

The actress-producer, who is busy with her wrestling drama with Salman Khan, and also prepping up for three home productions which will roll soon, was eyecatching in a black, figurehugging dress as she followed Virat out of the popular joint. The Indian batsman had been focussing on the T20 World Cup but India's campaign ended after a semi-final loss to West Indies on March 31. The man of the tournament seemed at ease in the company of his ex.

"They are a mature couple in love who, like everyone else, have had their share of differences. But they continued to be in touch even after their split and are trying to work things out now. They have decided to give their relationship another go but marriage is not on the cards at the moment. Anushka has always maintained a dignified silence on the matter and continues to do so," informed a source close to the actress.

In fact, besides her buddies, Salman Khan, with whom she has been shooting everyday, also urged her to patch up with Virat, laughingly pointing out that it was too early for the two to let go of each other. Everybody watches cricket and Virat is loved on the sets of the Ali Abbas Zafar film, like he is everywhere else, for his commitment to the game. Friends on the set also wanted the couple to reunite. Salman too prodded Anushka to call a truce. Looks like all's fair in love, war, Bollywood and cricket!
