Mahesh Bhatt's father is a Gujrati Hindu and his Mom Shia Muslim according to his own words. I don't know specifically which part of India his Mom was from. Soni Razdan's dad is a Kashmiri pandit and her Mom I believe is a Christian German. Soni was born in England and is a naturalized British Citizen so that's why Alia has a British passport.

I think a maternal figure on Mahesh Bhatt's side is Albanian. But I never heard of Russian.

She's probably got a British passport cos her mother is British born and therefore she would be able to get the British passport. I don't know about the rest but her grandmother is white or something as far as I've heard.
