Manipulative women in BW, you can meet & she knows how to come out smelling like roses from any & every situation. She's also very cold & very aloof. Is a crazy hard worker etc etc etc so it isn't a fair comparison AT ALL.

I think she is probably warmer with the ones close to her, it must be a shield she wears for self-preservation like Ranveer wears his nautanki like a shield because they are in fact super-sensitive and emotional quite like you and other Cancerians, I realise newer facets of your personality and theirs as we interact.

I have many Cancerian relatives and this seems to be a common trait, the excessive sense of hurt they feel which they aren't able to get over easily. What may be a passing injury for others is a festering wound for them and it will either result in them going into their shell or striking back, which is rare actually, since they mostly tend to internalise their pain and sulk...man do they sulk.

I relate a lot to Ranbir's characters in Wake up Sid, YJHD and Tamasha a lot - I was pretty lost with what I wanted to do in life, just like Sid. The Farooque Sheikh - Ranbir scenes in YJHD (the "aap nahin chahte ki main America jaaoon, toh nahin jaata" part especially) felt like a chapter out of my life...and I also worked at a corporate job (after college) like Ved in Tamasha, so could totally relate to the idiosyncrasies of corporate life (crazy bosses, bitchy co-workers etc) like Imtiaz has shown in Tamasha - credit to Ranbir for showing the frustration so well, it can really build up sometimes.
I really like how movies nowadays are focusing on these kind of real/relatable issues - its good to know that I'm not the only one who felt these emotions 😊.
