Is there any onscreen character or even a movie scene or milieu which you could absolutely relate to based on your real life experiences, your personal motivations or your background?? Discuss.

The character which I could most easily relate with was Kabir in YJHD.

The scene would have to be the one from Tamasha where Tara sees Ved in Social and then walks away to only come back later. That is how most people would react to their crush, trying to be cool but so unsuccessful at that😆

The milieu would have to be Hasee Toh Phasee, cause it was shot in the whereabouts of where I live and it made me realise that a romance need not have snowcapped Swiss Alps in its background but a suburban setting even within a claustrophobic flat can be romantic. And of course Wake Up Sid, cause it has Bombay as the third lead and then the romance of the monsoons and pretty much all that I loved in HTP was reflected here too❤️

Naina from YJHD hit right at home for me.
I use to be that boring geeky girl in High school. That character brought back a lot of memories.

I wanted to write Naina and Kabir but that would just sound weird...I have dreams like Kabir's and many of his personality traits but quite a few of Naina's too like not being a party freak and the tee totaling bit too. Also I was a tomboy like Aditi in school, so her too. Ayan really has a knack for writing such wonderfully relatable characters, even Sid and Aisha from WUS had some parts of me in them.

I wish Ayan wasn't making a super-hero movie next and had stuck to what he is good at which is relationships and people.

The aggressive fearlessness of Zoya, the crazy of Geet, the quite yearning and heartbreak of Pakhi and of course the bantering that Piku does with her Dad, her modern yet traditional mindset...love all these characters.

Naina from YJHD (also because my name is naina too😛).., but I was the same shy socially awkward and introverted girl until I met a few set of friends.. so that is a very relatable character for me..

Although I am not like Priyanka's Ayesha from Dil Dhadakne Do, but again that was such an amazingly real character.
I saw TWMR yesterday and enjoyed Datto's independent fearless streak as well.

Seeing comments and thinking back, Naina was easily one of the most relatable character.. But then its only in the first half.. I don think many of us who are geeks naturally have a watershed moment in our lives like Naina had.. She doesnt really qualify being a shy geek because had I been her, I probably would have continued with my studies than going online checking about the manali trip.. But ofcourse I relate to the frustrated inwards and quick thinker but geeky nature of the character.. Her transformation was amazing physically but kinda unbelievable in terms of personality.. Still I have never rooted for a character much like I did for Naina, that until Rani Mehra walked onscreen.. And then Neerja came and my ranking list again went for a toss..
