Best performance by a mainstream female actor in the past 5 years

Only considering those performances where the story revolved completely around the central female character for which the actor received immense critical acclaim.The poll is on popular female actors only since their movies may have been seen by most to allow a fair voting, no offence to fans of Kalki or Konkana or whichever non-mainstream actress pitched in a great performance.

1) kangana in Queen

Vidya in Kahaani and Sri in EV were on par..Its really tough to choose between the two cos they were kickass in their respective roles..And in both the films, i realized they made really unconventional pairings work..Where there was no love story, no feelings involved per se yet you rooted for the couple. It was all in that subtle chemistry without the usual Bollywood cliches..And the fact that they owned every frame helped..Another performance i'd pick which is not part of the list is PC in Barfi..I know the film din revolve around her and i din even root for her love story with Barfi ( cos i shipped Barfi and Shruti 😆) but as a standalone performance, it was outstanding..

Priyanka Chopra! Handsdown.Best actress of this decade.She has achieved so much with her hardwork and dedication👍🏼

Yeah I loved PC in Barfi too and Sonakshi in Lootera but the movies weren't female oriented.

Hard to choose one, so I will pick the following 😊
