It's one of my top favourites. <3 I watch it every time for my favourite bits when it airs on telly. Ash has never ever EVER looked as stunning , beautiful & NATURAL as she did in this movie. HR was amazing in this role, he acted immensely well & embodied Akbar so beautifully, that One forgets the original wasn't a 6 ft Greek God with an unbelievable body, and low powerful baritone. Their chemistry was splendid, as were the costumes, jewellery & environment. Ash-HR have the best chemistry after SRK-Kajol!! So real, natural yet pretty powerful. They simmered in JA!! *blushes*


Favourite scenes:

1.) When he's mesmerised by her singing & follows her Mann Mohana to her palace after dismissing the DEK... He sees he for the first time & his expression is to DIE for!!!! He's SO beautifully, subtly & organically, TAKEN ABACK at her beauty, it's like he cannot get over how BEAUTIFUL his wife is & his expressions & the following thaali scene is the best


2.) Sword fight everything.

3.) When he comes to Amer to fetch her & the whole adorable scene where he keeps trying to adorably make up to her.


Gosh now am going to YT these!!!


P. S. The music!!! I listen to it all the time esp Khwaja & MM. <3

Its one of those films where Ash was fantastic..And HR looked like a dream..I still remember how enamored i was by his looks after that sword practice scene 😆 I think my favorite bit in the film is when they see each other for the first time..The expressions on their face- its like they hit the lottery..We'd react that way too if we hadn't seen my partner before marriage and post that, we realize how gorgeous he/she is 😆

The whole song- the way its shot..And i usually dislike Javed Ali but he sounds fabulous here..

The Scene were they frst time see each other was soo well executed...and those expressions...OMG...esp Hrithik's...

Even that one where Jodhaa fist time cooks and serves...LOL that Thaali is soo Big...my entire Family could aaram se eat ...

Then the scene where Jodhaa's mom says abt the Rasam where you have to identity ur Partner ...

And The sword fight between Abkar and Jodhaa..

The Azeem-o-Shaan song gives me Goosebumps ...coz of its picturization...WWOW...
