well i know genelia was auditioned for Imraans first film...Jaane tu ya Jaane naa, auditions were held for Aashiqui 2, so many TV stars applied and groused when Aditya was chosen (but as it turns out the audience thought he was the perfect choice too) ...

come on..Mallika...India isnt that behind and backward...the distributors and people investing their money hv a say in the casting too...Sonu Sood, Sarfaraz Nawazuddin, Punit, Sushant Rajput, Ranveer they are not connected to films at least not in a direct way..they had to go the normal route, visiting studios, leaving their portfolios, giving auditions...there are crores and crores being invested, unless the producer, star or distributor is investing the lions share like that guy Karim Morani whose daughter is in a few films and producer Bhagnani whose son Jacky acted in Yongistan and some others there will be no one to put money in a film just cos so and so star said take my kid. There are kids of music barons...Love Shuddhas hero and others..but thankfully Rajkumar Rao, Amit Sadh, in additon to the already mentioned are picked for their talent.

The whole Sushmita bad blood thing between SLB and her happened because she had to audition for Devdas and SLB wanted her to pay for her audition/portfolio costumes, Kareena auditioned for Paro and badmouthed SLB when she didnt get the role.

There is nothing wrong being said in this interview, just because of what Kareena use to do in the past should not be brought up now.

Yes there was a time when I did not like Kareena's attitude, but this interview has nothing but being said good about PC. Look how stability and love does to a person, made Kareena a better person.

@P: Lol no, there is always word spread that the audition will that place/has taken place b/c there must've been a requirement of it but generally, there are no auditions since the actor & star are already chosen. Auditions for them means a look test with the full knowledge of the role coming their way... Hence Kareena'a nasty shock that Paro didn't come her way b/c with all these stars, it's a given. Anyway, as I said-Let's agree to disagree.

Wasn't there a blind (maybe months ago or even over a year ago) about Kangy and Bebo suddenly becoming BFFs and bitching about DP? So no her last obnoxious comment wasn't some three years ago. I personally fail to see how exactly has Bebo changed (off course this all depends on whether or not you believe that blind and as far as I am concerned, I do). She is just as bitchy as she was years ago...the only difference is she has learned to hide it better than she did when she was young.

P.S. I ain't gonna waste my time looking for that blind so don't bother asking for 'proof' 😆😆

Saif has taken most of Kareena's insecurity out of her. Kareena's insecurity stemmed from the fact that her world since childhood revolved around Bollywood and that's all she ever loved and wanted. She herself has said that Saif has shown her that there is a life outside of Bollywood. And it totally reflects in her behavior, her much more laid back attitide, and lack of drive to do more movies or do similar type of work as her contemporaries. It's obvious her priorities HAVE changed.

The fact that you had to use a blind to support your stance pretty much speaks volumes 😆

i like kareena's attitude

she really is in a secure place and that is why she has managed such a healthy balance in personal and professional life so beautifully

we as a society are difficult..making people's life difficult

when one child becomes a doctor..others are expected to do the same or perhaps bigger..

when one actress goes to HW..her contemporary is expected to go as well and make it bigger..if she doesn't..boo her

no wonder depression is prevailing..suicide attempts are increasing

the insane pressure and expectations to exceed a contemporary..can really mess your head

kudos to kareena for actually not giving a f**k..and it shows.

FYI..kareena has since day 1 always said..she wants to work only in hindi movies as that is her comfort zone

P.S: going to HW is great but why has that become a bench mark to be considered successful?

Ok. 😆😆 And why can't I use a blind? 😆😆 People on this forum consider blinds as some sort of written in stone truth so why can't I? 😆😆 Different rules for different members/celebs? 😆😆

Nah I didn't really have to support my stance with a blind because Bebo pretty much does the job herself. I just felt like bringing up this blind because people were being so touchy about those 'three years.' 😆😆 Off course its up to them whether they want to believe it/remember it or not 😆No one's forcing them to. 😆😆

Oh no I didn't mean you. I didn't even remember who brought it up. But since a certain fan jumped down my throat I thought it was her who brought it up. 😆😆 And even if it was you who brought it up first, I'm sure I vaguely remember her fans using that same excuse which is why I talked about some people being touchy. My apologies if it felt like I was targeting you or something 😆😆
