Not sure but one of our members said that SSR had locked the date.. though there was no announcement/official confirmation as of now..

So the chances are high..

I haven't heard April from SSR but I have heard him say in a few interviews (with Rajeev Masand perhaps, the follow up interview not during the initial release,) that they're looking into late 2016 if not early 2017 at latest.

But idk if that includes release because part 1 was slightly delayed even after film completion due to VFX and marketing.

Yeah.. he had said that in Rajeev Masand interview.. one from Feb I think.

But April 2017 one was a big news on social media.. and Though there was no confirmation directly by the crew, apparently SSR had locked the date or something..I am not sure of the procedure..

Yeah.. they started shooting couple of months later than they had planned and VFX will be taking a lot of time.. so April 2017 seems like a possible date..
