This one. Why would Diwale be affected by Amirs controversy?

Well aamir's statement came just before the release of dilwale...when people had almost forgotten about srk's intolerance comment..and so the whole intolerance debate freshly started again...

Protests could have happened due to Amir's statement. Obviously, we can't expect the protestors (those we saw in photographs) to have common sense (as who exactly said what and whose word was twisted).

I guess both Aamir and SRK commented on the intolerance issue, and both their statements were taken in a wrong way, and hence I guess people were generalizing that the stars' comments effect the film. I dont think anyone meant Aamir's comment is the reason Dilwale underperformed. Please post what exactly you read if its any article of something. These things unnecessarily encourage bashing and everything.
