TOI Entertainment Poll: Shah Rukh Khan's Fan' wins over Sultan' and Dangal'

2016 seems to be an exciting year as far as Bollywood films are concerned. While the year brings an interesting line up of films like 'Airlift,' 'Fitoor,' 'Neerja,' 'Mirzya,' 'Udta Punjab,' 'Jagga Jasoos,' 'Mohenjo Daro,' 'M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story' among others, it also sees the three Khans coming up with their major releases. While Shah Rukh Khan has 'Fan' lined up for release on April 15, 2016, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan will be seen as wrestlers in 'Sultan' and 'Dangal' respectively. Films featuring the Bollywood Khans have always been the talk of the town and it would be interesting to know which one of these will finally win the box-office battle.

Of course, we still have a long wait before we can find that out, but till then, we at The Times of India tried to get a rough idea of the situation beforehand. On our official Twitter page, we conducted a poll asking followers as to which film were they looking forward to out of 'Fan,' 'Sultan' and 'Dangal.' Considering that the buzz around all three films is immense, we were expecting the competition to be quite a tough one. We, however, stand corrected as the results are totally one-sided. Well, Shah Rukh Khan is the winner here with 63% of people looking forward to his 'Fan.' Salman's 'Sultan' grabs the second position with 30% votes, whereas only 7% audience is interested in watching Aamir's 'Dangal.'

One reason of SRK being winner could also be the fact that the teaser and trailer of his film are already out, whereas not much has been unveiled as far as Salman and Aamir's films are concerned. That's also because of the fact that the shooting of these films is still underway unlike SRK's film, which had been wrapped quite a few months ago.

Well, whatever the case be, the poll results definitely hint on the huge excitement movie maniacs have for 'Fan' and we are guessing this excitement will translate well at the box-office too.

I've seen three articles regarding this topic. And evey report is referring to that dnaindia report. But I don't think Filmfare is that stupid to start a fight with a "KHAN". One Khan never show up in theese award function. If another khan start doing this it's their loss.

no I think he is hosting...Kapil Sharma tweeted just a few hours back...and if SRK is not hosting then I am not watching

Could you guys please share where these reports are coming from. He's clearly rehearsing for something and Filmfare would be really stupid to ask him not to host it after requesting him to do so at the first place. Can't see Shahrukh agreeing to rehearse for anything if that were true. Jitesh, the editor for Filmfare seems like someone who respects Shahrukh a lot so I'm really surprised where these reports are coming from.

See SRK is rehearsing ...so nothing is wrong between him and FF...so even if Salman is hosting...there has to be some reason behind it and not a tiff...but I don't think Salman is hosting unless and until its a last minute change...
