Funny how Varun is sort of ignored

BO & Critical acclaim both came to this guy. Even his last release may have under performed being a SRK film. But for him a HIT status is more than enough. This guy has had 6 back to back success.

Yet never gets his due

This has been primarily Irfan's year. He had two commercial hits- Piku and Talvaar in Bollywood. And then he was a part of the biggest movie in Hollywood- Jurassic Park 4, where he played an important role with solid scree time. With Piku & Talvaar he managed to get recognition and appreciation from general movie going audiences too.

honestly, I've used to be Irfan haters because his comment about sex & his on screen sex (long time ago in one movie). But after Piku, I think he is the coolest actor in BW after SRK and DP.

Deepika midas touch... she turned Irfan Khan become a bankable actor 😆😆😆. Now lot of female actors want to be his co star included Aish.

Ladies: Kangana & PC in the commercial lane; Richa & Nimrat in the parallel lane. All 4 had distinct breakthroughs or successes somewhere or in some way which made them very prominent this year.

Men: Varun, feels like he's really put down a good foundation to establish himself in the "top" of the younger generation...his name is at the front of the newbies conversation right now. Salman (movies & law both on his side, woo!) Felt like AB senior had bit of a revival.
