Bajirao Mastani is simply extraordinary on Christmas Holiday. Film is not only set to cross all cut-off sets for the day, but should put some unbelievable number by the end of the day. Film is in fact rocking all across country today. Good news is that film has managed to retain almost all screens from first week itself. There is only 5% drop in screen count which is terrific news.

Coming to film opening. It has opened to excellent occupancy of around 55-60% in Morning shows. After that film has picked up big in Noon to report occupancy of around nearly 80%. If film follows the same trend for today then it will not only cross double digit figure, but also may head for 13-14 crore nett or even more. This is simply unrealistic. That means 8th day collection of the film is set to cross 1st day numbers if all goes well with Evening and Night shows. Film is now simply unstoppable and god knows where second weekend figures are going from here on.

If today's collection anything near 14 crores that means the film will officially cross 100 crs nett in India.. SLB probably rolling on floor in happiness while those who ridiculed him eating their hearts out.. 👏 This is beyond extra ordinary for a niche film like BM, but sad how no one pointed that out when BM is compared to DW.. A few people actually gave negative reviews genuinely saying that the genre isnt their cup of tea.. Considering all that, BM is definitely doing some phenomenal business.. It does seem like the clash benefitted BM than destroy it.. Now we know why SLB was adamant about BM release date.. Genius!!👏 I think SRK is quite well known for his business acumen but this will be the first time he made a miscalculation.. He should have been alerted when SLB daringly stood by his decision to release on the 18th..

SLB in his interview said that the decision to stick with 18 Dec was Kishore Lulla's decision. Eros deserves a big pat in the back for not backing down. We need producers like them to back and fund movies like BM.

I still think the songs in BM could not exceed SLB's earlier works.. But lately, I have been hearing Deewani Mastani song repeatedly.. After watching the film on screen, I am liking the song all the more now.. Like I said in my review, u can watch the movie just to see this song on big screen.. Its one of the few scenes when the ladies overshadow baba completely.. Deepika was simply mesmerizing in it.. Initially when this song was released I wasnt too fond of it.. Now I just love it!! A huge credit is for Shreya for giving soul to the song.. ❤️ Aayat is another song that Im growing obsessed about.. 😳

If you listen to the lyrics of the songs they too are telling the story somewhat be it dewani mastani, pinga, ab jane na doongi, ayat, aaj ibadaat they work with the narrative of the movie
