They will announce the result in mid March or so.

There is a multi-tiered jurdy decision making that happens for over a month where they have to view EACH movie from all parts of India. TOUGH COMPETITION. Therefore , we can't be sure who wins.

They do prioritize artistic excellence over commercial success though.

Thank god she won something at Filmfare at least! Datto is a one of a kind character and Kangy most certainly passed with flying colors!! 👏

Its okay..maybe some people liked Deepikas Piku or Tamasha better than her TWM.

And its common knowledge stars who ATTEND have a better chance of bagging the award.

And stars who ATTEND and PERFORM can safely be said to hv won already😆

at least in Deepikas case its not like she won for Happy New Year or Chennai express compared to Kangus TWM2. people are geniunely divided whether they like TWM acting better or Tamashas/Pikus Deepika better.

I liked both...they were layered characters, calling for restraint..in Piku and Tamasha..and she did fab in both while looking equally fab.

although Kangana had a more difficult role or roles in TWM2..theyboth were so well etched out and kangu nailed both with elan.

if she didnt attend and lost out well, that was her choice. whoever liked her better has the satisfaction of knowing she did a briliant job.
