SRK & I talk things that I can't reveal - Ranveer Singh

A lot has been written about the clash between the two massive films - Bajirao Mastani and Dilwale. While the media, trade and audience has been divided over the clash, those who are unaffected with this face off are the stars of the two films - Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra.

But now that both films have released and both are doing well, it is good sign for all the stars. But there is one man who has stood out with his performance and that is undoubtedly Ranveer Singh.

Ranveer is not only winning acclaim for his role but is being considered as one of the most bankable star and now also seems to have transported in the big league.

While the reviews for Ranveer have been amazing, the public review has bestowed Singh with some huge compliments. One of them being 'Shah Rukh Khan is a bigger star, but Ranveer Singh is a bigger actor'.

Ask Ranveer how does it feel to receive such compliments and he first takes time to sink in... Pauses and then asks, "Zeher milega? (Will I get some poison)".

"No no SRK has too much depth and range as an actor. Whatever we have seen of Mr. Khan is just the tip of the iceberg. I said this recently about Kareena too but it got misconstrued in the media. She is so talented. They are proper actors and hence they are stars. Because they can connect to people's hearts is why they are stars. It is just unfortunate that both are films came on the same day the comparisons are inevitably drawn. But there is NO comparison. The man's contribution to Hindi Cinema is unparallel," admits Ranveer.

He adds, "There has never been anyone like him. I was hanging out with him yesterday. He is still so humble and grounded. The way he met me when I was a newcomer, he still meets me the same way with equal amount of love and warmth. We don't discuss films or performances. We talk shit! We talk random rubbish. I mean I can't reveal... He is hilarious and fun to hang out with. He has achieved greatness. I have worked for 5 years, he has worked for 25 years, which is 5 times the amount of work I have done."

Well, now isn't that too sweet!

srk and ranveer seem to hav a great equation, ranveer has so much admiration for srk and srk has always been so warm to ranveer

This is too cute. No one ever has anything bad to say about Shahrukh. Same with Ranveer. They seem like such nice people 😳 My two favorites. I wonder what they talk about? I would give money to be a fly on that wall 😆

Good to know SRK and Ranveer share such great vibes.

SRK is always nice to newcomers, he launched so many of them, even DP.

He always give screenspace to side actors and heroines in his own movies, he doesnt hog the limelight like some other superstars.

SRK is SRK, one of the best actors of BW! He has proved it over 25 yrs!

Ranveer is a very promising young actor. He still has a long way to go to be compared to SRK and he acknowledges that. Glad that hes getting kudos for his performance as Bajirao.

SRK and Bebo are my favourite actors, but they've wasted their talent. Both of their recent work has been so bad.
