Good luck with Dilwale..I have spent years sighing for SRK..when people used to meet me,the first question they asked was"how is your shahrukh doing".

Now I am a Ranveer fan...so i guess in life it happens.People move on.

Yeah, good luck with BM too...I will watch both, I dont like Ranveer much but big fan of PC.
But SRK Kajol will come first for me ALWAYS! .😳
I only hope SLB didnt make the movie too long. Also dont know how he will justify Baji Mastani love as trailer and songs all show more chemistry between Kashi Rao. šŸ˜•

6000 screens in China??? Are they nuts!

Why would Chinese people be interested in watching a historical saga which not even many desis are familiar with! It doesn't even feature any megastar! šŸ˜†

The Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra starrer, due to its historical theme, is being looked as a kind of cinema that Chinese would love to watch on the big screen. The similarity in cultural aspects and core ethos further helps in the relatability quotient. Distributors there are very excited and Eros, which has a huge distribution alliance with them, is putting in all the effort," the source adds.

That Monday/Tuesday test will come into play here. Dilwale will open huge and BM will have an average opening. It's how people perceive both movies that'll decide the final outcome.

SRK hasn't featured in a good movie since MNIK. Even MNIK wasn't all that good. Rohit Shetty's movies work at the BO, but his last "good movie" is still considered to be Golmaal 1. Singham was okay I guess.

Compare that to Bhansali, he's delivered a great gem like Guzaarish, which even if it was a Flop, is one of the best movie of the last 15 years. I didn't like Ram Leela one bit, but the select audience lapped it up.

If BM clicks like RL, both movie will under-perform. BM's biz will be cut by Dilwale's hype and Dilwale's potential will never be fulfilled because of BM's positive WOM. So, you may be right.

I think both will underperform. Both movies have huge buzz so they will end up eating into the same audience.

My family and my cousins + their family are all set to watch BM on 18th...so yea they will get money from our 18 tickets in overseas at least šŸ˜†

Ironically my cousin is a hardcore SRK Kajol jodi fan but she hates Rohit as a director so she will prefer BM over it

The royal culture of China in late 19th and early 20th century had a quite similarity with early 17-19th century in India. Both had a culture of war, polygamy and treating women as a pleasure object. So chinese might enjoy the movie.
