Ranbir and Shahid should do performance oriented roles. They have money and family to bank on. Both are brilliant actors. Much better than his hits churning juniors like Varun or Sid.

Anyway, iss se kya farak padega? To me, the greatness of his acting is a myth. He is the Abhay Deol part deux who can only be catered to pseudos.

Ranbir is still choosing films without reading the script. Latest one is Dutt's biopic. Yes one might argue that Hirani has never gone wrong...but you never know.
As for starkids being greedy...that seems to be a common trait among starkids industry hails as superstars. HR is also as greedy...charges 50cr upwards for films upfront when his films income do not justify those charges.

This. And it goes for everyone, not just Ranbir. Also writers need more credit in the industry. Actors are always like "I look at the director first and then the script", as if scripts grow on trees.

what entitlement.

Producers have lost crores..they put up those smiles for the actors and directors.

He is embarrassed.

probably the most disliked actor in bollywood right now.

Ranbir is a great actor but he really needs to get it together. His personal life constant DP-Kat, Mummy-Daddy drama is doing him no favours whatsoever. He's gives off really negative vibes a lot of the time, he needs to find that liveliness in him again.

It seems like at the moment he's a directors dream and a producer's nightmare. If he know's a film's content is very niche, take a paycut it's not the end of the world, and start promoting his films with a little more passion and energy. He can't keep incurring such losses for producers.

LOL at least he's honest about his career!

That's better than being in denial.

How you can pass such sweeping statements...do you represent the film industry to know how they feel about him😕

Ranbit should definitely take a pay cut...if nothing else it should save his films from flopping.

I agree with the person who mentioned scripts...ranbir seems to be following hit directors (and who coincidentally are his friends) rather than the script of the films like he used to do

Another recent example when an actor chose directer over script was Shahid Kapoor doing Shaandaar.

Disasters like BV and Shaandaar prove that actors shouldnt blindly do a film only because they are being directed by acclaimed directors.

Even top directors are capable of writing rubbish scripts.

LOL I feel bad for him. But this is definitely a PR article to cover up for the fact people were giving him flak for taking such a high salary, one that he doesn't deserve. "Oh I know my film was bad, I admit it and all", can't he also then see the fact he is getting way too much money.
