Last time DP pulled stunt about FF7 to divert attention from D3's first look. She also pulled the cleavage stunt to divert attention from Finding Fanny tanking at the BO. So what is it this time?

Wait...aren't you a DP fan? 😕

As much as i dislike her i don't think this is a publicity stunt. I mean to be honest (and not being based at all) its not like she landed a major movie. The last X3 was a HUGE bomb at the box-office and i doubt that this one is going to be any different, even though it is being directed by the same person who will be directing the next GI Joe movie. So yeah this is definitely not a publicity stunt, although i don't understand how she is going to "act" in the movie. Maybe she'll play an Indian, maybe a mute or maybe her voice would be dubbed. I mean i cant imagine her screaming "Doood" and "Stoup it" at Vin Diesel. And Vin Diesel is a pretty 'thanda' actor and there is no chance of kissing or sex scenes in the movie so she's good (not like thats going to stop her anyways).

Why are they making a sequel to xXx 2 in the first place anyways? it was a major BO flop & heavily panned movie. 😕

Why didn't she try for FF8 instead?

Beggars cant be choosers. Lets see if she makes it as big as Ash and Priyanka did, although she neither has the looks or the acting chops of those two.

xXx 2 didnt have vin deisel...🤔

This one has samuel jackson in the credits.

When Aish went to Bollywood ,she was blacklisted by makers in Bollywood..She took whatever acting job she could land.

DP and PC wont take that career step..unless they are assured of returns.

DP has made some smart moves so far..i am shure she will do just fine.

I can completely understand DP wants to expand her horizons, if meaty offers are drying up back at home. She is smart and ambitious.

Also landing a role in these action flicks that require ethnic flowerpots, is a nice entry point but not necessarily career enhancing. 😕 For that she has to break through the difficult independent film barrier. The industry here doesn't have substantial roles for Indian characters. Hope everyone understands that by now.

But I hope her dreams are more than just getting an assignment and being arm candy to such action heroes on steroids. She has worked hard to gain respectability as an actress back home. It will be sad to see her being a flowerpot. 😭

Have to say PC is smart to make her innings through a series that focuses on acting chops and not skin show. Atta girl!

Dilwale already doomed. May be this stunt is final nail in the coffin. BM has highly praised trailer+good acting+PC (A Roaring star overseas)+DP {Reigning BO Queen(hope she does not take offend being called a Kangy movie)} + one of the finest director+ A historical euphoria around Bajirao.

Nothing saving Dilwale now. Its just another shitty masala film.

I see no reason for her to create a fake news. She is moving to HW.

I am sure this is not just a publicity stunt .. she wouldn't announce it like so confidently on twitter if this wasn't for real. But then yes it might be that ek teer se do shikaar kinda thing to impact Dilwale too. I mean PC is already in America and DP goes too .. so together they will garner bigger audience for BM, atleast in Americas. So, the timing is just about right.

Though honestly I really hope that Vin Diesel ends up dubbing DP's voice. Even for an Indian, it becomes intolerable to tolerate her accent. For a hollywood movie, her accent is going to be a real psycho shit to tolerate. So, I so hope that either she works on her accent or she just gets dubbed. Don't want her speaking in her real voice .. no way. It will bring down xXx and I would cry if that actually happens. Vin is one of my all time favs. And no he is no thanda on screen, he has done all kinds of scenes. And DP has been open to such scenes even in bollywood (unlike Ash) so she won't have the kind of self-imposed restrictions that made Ash lose out on some of the big hollywood projects. And DP is like a total sexy exotic tall dark kind of a girl who the American audience might totally love if she ends up acting well. Hope she works hard and does well. Hope the film is good too. I've been waiting for the next xXx. Yippie .. Vin and DP .. awesome!
