I haven't seen the Golmaal series, but I know many who have and have mentioned how much they loved it.

It's ridiculous how much this forum tries to ridicule different genres just because it doesn't match their liking. The replies in this topic are ironical because on one hand some fans defend Rohit Shetty saying he has his own audience and there are people who enjoy his movies. And on the other they ridicule genres that focus on sex and violence just because they don't suit their liking. Wow! And I'm sick of this over-emphasis on 'Clean' coz they are always trying to make a point and ridicule the not so clean movies and stuff. Jeez!

I've only watched "Bol Bachchan" and CE.

I absolutely loved "Bol Bachchan".

I guess whenever SRK is part of any movie, people expect to see some romance. And I dont think romance is Rohit's forte. He excels at comedy and action. Maybe that's why CE, though it did well because of SRK-DP, didn't stand out as much as his earlier movies.

This. Rohit shetty's other movies are much much more funny than CE. Be it Bol Bacchan, Singham or Golmaal. Whereas the only saving grace of CE was Deepika and her accent. She made the movie what it is. Whereas in other movies there are so many other things happening other than romance. There's lot of action too. No wonder Ajay-Rohit deliver better stuff, usually. SRK is not really good at hardcore action which Rohit is really good at. CE is a funny movie by Shahrukh's standards but not much acc to Shetty's standards.

hypocracy of some members ! rohit shetty kare tho raas leela where as others kare the same masala movies then its mindless/craps !
and i wouldnt surprise seeing the same members changing the tunes when rohit does the movie with salman !😆

^^ But why Sunny? During CE, I didn't even like Deepika yet I found her to be best part about the movie. Her dialogues are the most popular. SRK almost ruined it for me with his ridiculous acting. 😕

And, anyway I'm sure our taste must suck and that's why we end up liking dirty movies instead of appreciating classic and heartwarming stuff. 😳
