Just saw the BM trailer.

I am gonna be really objective here.

The BM teaser did not impress me much but the trailer is amazing.

Ranveer and Priyanka killed it. The best part was how it gave all three characters equal space to make an impact in the trailer.

It's not about the stars but their characters.

SLB seems to have made a good film. You can see that even from the trailer.

I HATED Saawriya, Guzaarish and Raam Leela. But BM looks really good.

Honestly, RS and SRK should be thanking their stars that they were able to score Sharukh Kajol.

All my friends and colleagues loved the BM trailer but are still going to watch Dilwale first only to see Shahrukh Kajol together after so many years. Everyone wants to relive the magic of their fav childhood jodi.

There is a reason why IF is termed as Alternate universe 😆 I am absolutely loving the fact that Dilwale has become the underdog here...trust me its a really good omen 😆...
The Top 3 most loved trailers & backed films on IF this year are -
1- Dil Dhadakne Do (everything about this film was touted as the best thing since sliced bread it was supposed to be the Summer film of the year)
2- Detective Byomkesh Bakshi ('Cult' trailer, 100Cr classic Hit) 😆
3- Brothers (Polished trailer, 200Cr BB)
And co-incidentally not just all these films Bombed & got mixed reviews but also had underwhelming openings despite Gr8 trailers, acclaimed directors.

As for Dilwale trailer well TBH I disliked it & criticised it many a times but then I went to watch PRDP in theatre and the kind of response Dilwale trailer recieved...Be it the cheers on Srk & Varun's entry, or people laughing on Sindoor & adhar card dialogues, or whistles on flying cars & Srk's dialogues...It was mayhem...

So superstitiously its great that Dilwale is being underestimated and losing polls here. Frankly people are giving weirdest possible reasons (ulterior motives & delusions are more then evident) to lend their support to Dilwale's rival like "Oh these films need to be supported, its pure art..etc..etc..Team has worked extremely Hard which needs be awarded..etc..etc"
As if Dilwale team was doing timepass & obviously them shooting for 18 hrs a day in a 2 month long Hyderabad schedule cannot be counted as 'Hardwork'...
Anyways I repeat I am loving it & waiting for 18th Dec 😆

Even before the trailers came people were underestimating Dilwale. Apparently SRK-Kajol is a old outdated pair no one cares for, Varun is nothing but a side hero compared too Ranveer Singh and SLB is master filmmaker of great content. 😆

IF is a parallel universe indeed..I mean how many examples one may need?..Just this year there was Shaandar,PRDP,Brothers,DDD,DBB,SIB which were predicted to be big hits...We all saw how that ended..Just last year Kill Dill was supposed to bag Filmfare...One after other,all predictions have bitten dust

I am not even going to bother browsing through other topics posted in this forum anymore..Its heavily biased to some 3-4 actors and even their mediocre work wud be praised to heavens..So imagine when they come up with something half decent...😆

Let me cherish all goodies related to Dilwale by staying put in this thread..I am sure there is a lot of fun to be unraveled...Its better enjoying this joyful journey than worrying about the destination..Though I am still fairly positive because of the sheer confidence the Dilwale team has shown on their product..Senseless predictions are purposely posted to bring down the festive mood among us fans..They are free to fantasize abt the fall of King and new crowning glory moment🤣.I firmly believe X'mas has come early for me and Dec 18th will be a gift for all of us fans in this thread after countering all the redundant negativity 😛😆

lol...movie will be hit...but it has to sustain...i don't know why shah is releasing with BM. he should have released his FAN or Raees and released dilwale next yr.

right now shah needs a good quality movie...regardless of box office status...to bring him back in game in a big way. dilwale is not going to do any good.

People under estimate SRK's intelligence in addition to his starpower way too much here.He is obviously in this business for more than 25 years..He knows what his audience demands from him during X'mas time when major chunk of the audience,school going kids(and their families) are having plenty of free time owing to vacations and what may drag them to the theater.SRK has to live up to his pan India appeal..South audience play a crucial part..I doubt they wud prefer to watch a gangster saga(whose whereabouts they are probably unaware abt) at festive period.Didnt Talaash which came during X'mas 2012,under perform though it was brilliant piece of work according to critics and had 3 superstars leading the cast?

Anyway to each his own.I dont think Diwale ship is sinking yet.Thats all 😆
