But coming to your post specifically...yes this song proved that for all the amount of trolling KJo has faced over the years for his mushy NRI-catering song picturizations, no one gets SRK-Kajol like he does...Farah toh is on some egomaniacal trip anyways and in my personal opinion part of the reason why SRK is also looking consumed with his IMAGE more than the nuances of the romance/chemistry...It is Kajol who is bringing about that poignancy in this song mainly...while all SRK is mainly doing is running around and spreading his arms trying to sell the SRK IMAGE more than a character in the movie.

Iceberg bit was good, so was the other bit when she's in the golden sari and their foreheads are leaning in/he's kissing her cheek or something.

Anyways I've resigned myself to this song now...lol I like the audio now and I am learning to zone out SRK's horrendous styling and posturing in the vid.

KJo is a fan but at the end of the day, he gets them...he gets couples in general. Kajol holds this song together as she usually does when SRK falters-- I really found SRK disappointing in this song because I felt like he didn't even try...let's put the romance stuff aside, his freaking lip synch is off!! 😕 How long has he been working for for that to be acceptable?

Oh I'm damn sure the cosmeticness is coming from Farah. HNY the whole movie was SRK the image, SRK the past...redo everything SRK has done. It was SAD to see. It's not surprise then this is also all image. Sometimes I feel like this is her revenge on SRK for slapgate. She can't do anything else so just make him look bad via movies. 😆 She has done enough songs and enough love songs, enough songs on SRK-Kajol over the years to know what these songs need...I have no idea what she did here, unless everything good was because of director's. I really don't like Farah. I think Remo was supposed to choreograph this initially, why didn't they just stick with him?

The song gets stuck in my head..the audio is pretty nice and the lyrics are too. Rest we'll get over. I'm learning to like the video anyways. Hopefully Alvida song is better.

Even after all the faults in the song ( I accept SRK was kinda lame in it,there was intensity in him in only like 3 scenes in the song) & the trailer (no flow,random) , I still feel silently confident about the movie . SRK seems very confident too & so does the rest of the cast . He knows what he's doing , he is not going full out to promote it like HNY . He has shown 1 hour and songs of it to the press and journos . RS films have an easy flow to them and are an ideal fun timepass movie & if Dilwale is anything like that , no matter how good BM is , Dilwale will earn huge bucks (it will still earn huge nonetheless)
