I mean, there is ZERO HYPE, nobody cares about the Ranbir-Deepika pair anymore...I barely see or hear anyone talking about this film...all i hear is PRDP and Dilwale

Hell, even Bajiao Mastani has more hype 😆

I seriously think this film is going to tank hard! Oh and the trailer and movie itself looks incredibly boring and bland!

If the script is any good, it might do well on the basis of word of mouth.

it seems like ranbir isn't gonna promote it?...since he promoted his last couple of films and it made no difference so maybe he is leaving this one in god's hands n hoping it will do well if it's actually a good film.

the movie looks like a sequel to YJHD and thats what they shud have sold it as...

The thing with the trailer is, you can't figure out what the story is. Yes boy meets girl and they fall in love, but what's with the plays/drama/storytelling element? They need to release another promo to reveal a bit more in order to connect with the general audience.

But personally I am sooo excited about seeing it. I love Deepika's look/vibe/character/acting in the trailer. I think she will deliver one of her best performances ever. The music seemed bland to begin with but 3-4 songs are growing on me. Imtiaz as a director has his flaws, but his films are usually very stirring and I love that.

I LOVE the scene at the end of the trailer: "Tujhe to pyar ho gaya hai pagli" / "Haan Ved, haan" / "Magar kissi aur se" - that bit makes me tear up - it's so damn intense.

the movie does not release for another month

once PRDP releases You'll see Tamasha promotions will start heavily

movies only need 2/3weeks of promotions

it will be a surprise winner

True there's not much hype but I don't think it matters anymore. Shaandaar supposedly had hype but look what happened. I think it'll do average business

Depends on WOM, honestly the BO collections are extremely risky for each film and I don't think the pressure has ever been this high for a young actor to deliver at the BO.

Isn't the story obvious? Lol...Ranbir is a director or actor...who likes to play out his characters in real life before directing/acting them...and so when he meets Deepika he is "acting"...but she didnt know that and she doesnt like "the real actual him" LOL
