I like SRK but I'm tired of his pairing with Kajol. I no longer see any chemistry between them and so MNIK was not that great for me either. Therefore, I'm definitely not that excited for Dilwale, but am excited to see Deepika play Mastani. Looking forward to it and I hope solely for her that her film becomes a success despite clashing with an A-list Khan's film.

Rohit Shetty has to give me more action than SLB's furnishings so far. If I were to watch these films I would honestly pay to see the visuals and set of BM. They look amazing so far.

But if Rohit Shetty brings his game then I theoretically would go and see both. He needs a tight script to seal the deal as he's got some big names. Since SRK is a car mechanic I am expecting some drag racing type action scenes or the likes.

In the end they'll both make some money so I hope its enough to cover costs + some decent profit.

I don't think she will "crush" them but I am hoping both movies do well at the BO. They probably cater to different audiences but there is a huge overlap so I hope people can spend money on both ;s

You can't crush Dilwale even with a mountain.

It has all the ingredients for crowd pullers and has both single screens and multiplexes in its target audience.
Rohit shetty and Varun are the most successful names for single screens these days. And shahrukh and Kajol have the multiplexes pretty much ready.

At most BM will do well if it's target audience, multiplexes, are big enough to accommodate both films.
Ranveer is hardly a crowd puller, neither is PC. Thing BM has going in its favor are DP and stunning visuals.

There's no question DILWAALE will be a huge hit.
The question is, will BM survive and also do well.

I think BM will do well since RL did well too. It might struggle because of the clash. If BM ends up doing better, it's gonna be hella entertaining and hilarious. Though Srk and Karol fans are way bigger than the fans of 3 leads of BM put together. Dilwale has so many good things going for it. When was the last time Varun, Kajol and Srk film or Rohit Shetty film wasn't a huge hit?

All I know is members here are over-estimating Dilwale and under-estimating BM. I really think SRK is gonna have sleepless nights due the this clash. BM looks grand, beauitiful and most importantly offers something new and fresh. Not everything is about marketing.

Having said that, if BM indeed wins the clash, then it's gonna be due to the combined efforts.of SLB+Deepika+Ranveer+Music, not just Deepika, though I agree she is on a roll and will definitely atract more audience that Ranveer at this point. And even if Dilwale flops, SRK ain't going anywhere. 😆

I personally would watch BM before Dilwale and I'm glad that the audience wouldn't be taken for granted in this case.

Good point but you forgot PC. She's a great actress and would add value to the film not just Ranveer and Deepika and the music and the rest of the stuff you listed.

I would watch BM before Dilwale too..but I won't spend money on either lol. Both of these directors are disappointing most of the time..neither liked RL or CE.
