I actually agree with Shreya..Its Tamasha which will probably lose out cos its crushed between a lot of big releases 😆 And it doesn't look like a conventional romcom with foot-tapping songs either ala YJHD so that makes the situation even worse..Gah, one more flop for Ranbir 😆 Am still hoping it does well atleast for Ranbir's sake..Poor guy 😆 Anyways, right now PRDP seems to have phenomenal buzz (which is baffling in a way cos i have never liked Barjatya's films but its understandable i guess)..And i think Shandhaar will do well too..Dharma has gone crazy promoting the film and romcoms always do well even if they are half decent so i do think that film will be a hit..About BM , it can go either way..I think SLB sucks as a filmmaker but when has that really mattered..I mean Barjatya sucks too but PRDP is a sureshot BB 😆 So yeah, like i said, its tough to predict..

P.S. The irony here is that all 4 films are directed by ppl who i think are overrated as hell 😆 Imtiaz makes pseudo-intellectual crap, RS makes ridiculous films and SLB-Barjatya are melodrama & cheesiness overload..I wish i could skip all the films but i'l watch Tamasha and Dilwale for RK & SRK-Kajol..Hoping they are half decent and do well atleast for their sake 😆

For Tamasha to make a difference its buzz, trailer and songs should have been as good as YJHD but its more like Happy Ending. BM is still to reveal all its cards...the rest of the songs and actual trailer could be good. But so far too much focus on sets...SLB seems obsessed with the sets rather than anything else in the film.

Perhaps you are right.

I am not really hopeful for BM. SLB is quite limited as a director.
As someone said already, the similar settings of PRDP could be a problem! On the other hand, Tamasha being a relatively small film, can benefit from the series of big releases provided the music or story is good enough!

NO PRDP and BM are completely different setting. Only common thing between them is grand sets. There is enough gap too. But BM has to give more than just grand sets.

Is Tamasha's music bad? I am yet to check out all the songs!
I thought Heer badi sad hain was alright!

SB is a trashy director! PRDP wouldn't have had such buzz had Salman not been a part of it.
But BM does not have such luxury!
It has to be a good movie to triumph over Dilwale or low buzz !

I just feel that a film like Bajirao Mastani deserves a solo release. It's no less than an event film and needs to be seen on the big screen. On top of that, it's such a historically important film for India and has been made on a huge scale. The teaser and music trailers so far have been of superlative quality and if the final cut matches this, then we have an epic saga by SLB. It'll be sad if it doesn't cover its costs and even more disappointing if it gets lost in the crowd... :(

I hope somehow the producers find a solution. The clash with Dilwale is SO stupid. Aahh!!! The last 2.5 months are way too crowded - Shaandar, PRDP, Tamasha, Dilwale and Bajirao Mastani... WHAT ARE THEY THINKING!!!

^^ Na not bad..But most of them are unconventional..Not instant chart-busters if you know what i mean..And like always, they take time to grow on you..I'd still say its not a patch on Rockstar 😆 I hope the movie is better though..Don think i can take another Rockstar 😆

I don't know why everybody here is so confident about Dilwale? HNY had everything going for it too but it ended up as a lame film. You can't be too sure of Dilwale as well, despite it being directed by Rohit Shetty. Who knows if SRK's desperation to deliver a blockbuster to match upto other two Khans might ruin the film in one way or the other. This time SLB actually looks in form, the music sounded gorgeous in the teaser, Deepika is on a roll, Ranveer looks so good. BM definitely looks like a superior project right now, much better than the crap shahrukh keeps churning these days in the name of entertaining cinema. I myself enjoy Rohit Shetty movies but he is not invincible.

That's what I am trying to say! For a film like BM to work, you need a solo release with a lots of buzz! But BM is pretty much missing all of that.

Tamasha n Dilwale might fall flat but still BM with such a huge budget , will suffer to recover cost!

Haan bhai gareeb logo ko kaun dekhne jayega sab Raees Dilwalo ko dekhenge they better break Salman and Aamir's chindi records with the same type of WOM Bajrangi and PK got as movies. Mujhe masterpiece director Rohit Shetty pe bharosa hai he is brilliant. SLB with his 3 flop joker actors is nothing for Raees Dilwalon ki Dilwale its going to be a cakewalk to break Bajrangi and PK record. We raaess dilwale fans are so chilled yo koi tension hi nahi iss baar todenge taale hum Dilwale.
